Athera was founded in 2018 in Tema, Ghana, as a manufacturing company serving the Foods, Pharmaceuticals, and Specialty Chemicals Sectors in areas of packaging and processing. Over the past 4 years, we have grown from a small-sized local company into a medium manufacturing.
Athera’s packaging capabilities cut across various industries in Ghana. During the past three years, the company had produced more than 3 million kilograms of packaging materials. Much of Athera’s spectacular growth in the last 2 years resulted from the increase demand for chemical and pharmaceutical packaging. Athera’s next phase of growth will be focused on developing the Foods processing and packaging.
