Ing. Kweku Asmah

Ing. Kweku Asmah is the founder and C.E.O of The Automation Ghana Group, (TAGG) which is a group of companies consisting of Process and Plant Automation Ltd, Automation Solutions Ltd, Smart Home Solutions Ltd and Electrical Switchgear Ltd. This group of companies are undoubtedly Ghana’s leading Electrical Engineering and Automation, and the first of its kind in the country.

With a staff strength of over 180 employees, TAGG continues to provide smart engineering solutions to the mining and manufacturing industries, as well as homes and offices. TAGG recruits, trains and mentor’s young graduates to carry out exciting engineering works, tackling seemingly impossible challenges across the market segments we serve.

By the founding of Automation Solutions Ltd, Ing. Kweku Asmah succeeded in establishing Ghana’s first Instrumentation supply and Services Company, not only selling products but providing complete turnkey solutions and support to the process industry in Ghana with a huge client base in the Oil and Gas and Food & Beverage Industries.

Smart Home Solutions Ltd has developed Innovative solutions and products for the real estate market in Ghana aimed at Energy savings, Entertainment, Security and Convenience.

The Electrical Switchgear Ltd, has two revenue streams: switchgear assembly, and training. Its products and services are tailored to feed the growing Ghanaian manufacturing industry and beyond. Electrical Switchgear Ltd also offers training in Electrical Engineering and Industrial Automation, to develop and improve the knowledge base of personnel employed by these industries.

Ing. Kweku Asmah is a Senior Professional Engineer of the Ghana Institution of Engineering, where he currently chairs the ICT committee.

He has delivered several lectures, including presentations on “Off grid Solar Applications in Ghana”, “Flow and Level Control in the Food and Beverage Industry”, “Process optimization in the Food & Beverage Industries” and many more. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of science and Technology.
